MGWT LLC was established with a view of having a specific focus on committed supply and the sourcing of quality plastic scrap for Nice Planet Polymers FZC from local UAE market, and import from other countries. Consequent to this, we realized that there is huge scope for plastic waste trading from the right source for the right recycler to meet their needs and quality requirements.
We found that the companies and/or individuals involved in buying and selling of plastic waste were not qualified and do not see the issues and problems faced by the recyclers, and unaware of such things as:
- the steps and precautions that should be in place at the collection points of waste
- waste management
- how to handle and segregate plastics
- how to reduce contamination
that will make plastic waste amenable to recycling without excessive loss of volume, and with reduced energy and labor costs, into quality feedstock material or granules for higher specific applications.
